Day 1: Nairobi airport
Pick up from the airport and be dropped at the meridian hotel for your overnight stay.
Day 2: Nairobi - Aberdare
Breakfast at your Meridian Hotel, Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive northwards via the scenic surroundings of the Aberdares range, arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon you will join your driver guide for a short game drive or walk along the Lodge to watch species of birds and other wildlife as they graze around.
Day 3: Aberdare full day
On this day after breakfast, you will leave the lodge with a packed picnic lunch accompanied by an armed ranger for a whole day trekking tour. You will trek through the moorland, viewing the beautiful hills, valleys, waterfalls, and the wildlife. Overnight at the Lodge
Day 4: Aberdare - Lake Nakuru National Park
Check out after breakfast and proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch, afternoon game drive at the park worldly renowned for the pink Flamingos, over 400 bird’s species exist here, White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork. It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see the White Rhino and rare Rothschild Giraffe. Overnight at the Lodge
Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park - Lake Bogoria National Park
Breakfast at the lodge followed by a brief game viewing as you drive out of the park and drive to lake bogoria After Breakfast enjoy a morning bird and game viewing drive around Lake NakuruNational park, On our way we visit Lake Bogoria to view the Hot Geysers and springs. Lake Bogoria is also a bird sanctuary park with amazing scenery , before driving to Lake Baringo on a scenic drive along the floors of the great rift valley. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
DAY 6: Lake Bogoria - Lake Naivasha
After Breakfast depart Lake Bogoria for Naivasha where you will have lunch en route arriving at Lake Naivasha check in at the Naivasha country club after lunch proceed on your adventure to various attractive features and other optional activities undertaken in Lake Naivasha. Covered by ashes from the Longonot eruption which occurred 100 years ago, Hells gate national park is famous for its geothermal station, Lower Gorge and spectacular sceneries (cliffs, volcanoes, gorges, geothermal steam). Hell's Gate National Park is characterized by diverse topography and geological scenery. The park is home to a profusion of plains game and bird life. Walking is permitted, making it ideal for hiking, biking, and rock climbing. These forests abound with bird life, known as a world class birding. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
DAY 7: LAKE NAIVASHA CRESCENT ISLAND
Activity: Game walk in the park The Park Where You Walk With The animal; Crescent Island Sanctuary; is only one. Located on Lake Naivasha, Kenya in the Great Rift Valley. It is simply one of the most beautiful parks in Kenya, often called Naivasha best kept secret. It is private, secure and patrolled by Guides who can accompany anyone who wishes for a guided walk.Surroundedby water, it is actually a peninsula and is accessible by boat from East or West as well as by road, taking under two hours on tarmac from Nairobi. Crescent Island Game Sanctuary shores host abundant birdlife, especially huge numbers of pelicans, cormorants and fish-eagles with their haunting cry. There are more animals per acre than any other Kenyan Park; hence many film companies have been to the Island to film the herds of Wildebeest, Waterbuck, Zebra and Gazelle. We are not fenced to allow the wildlife on the mainland to come in as they lose their habitat to development and the ever increasing population. Hippo graze all over us at night then sleep under the acacia or rest in the water by day. The giraffes who were born on the Island return to give birth; sometimes you see three generations at a time. Hyena come to hunt at night but are not resident on the island, the many python that do live here can be seen occasionally with a kill. Groups of Buffalo come and go but they are always monitored. From the top of the hill there is a 360 degree view across the Lake from Longonot to HellGate to the Mau Escapement to Eburu and onto the Aberdare’s. Walking along the ridge in the golden hour before sunsetwhilst watching the animals grazing with the water shimmering beyond, is what Africa is all about . Overnight at the Lodge
Day 8: Naivasha – Maasai mara
After breakfast depart for Maasai mara game reserve. The Maasai mara” – Kenya’s finest game reserve –with gentle rolling grasslands teeming with a plethora of animals and bird-life. Arrive and Check in at the lodge or camp for lunch. The meals are buffet, enjoyed either in the dining room or under the shade of indigenous trees. The culinary affair is indeed one to delight the senses, have a few minutes relaxing and enjoy the surroundings before you depart for an afternoon game drive.
Masai Mara Game Reserve offers wonderful scenery and plenty of games. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where a visitor may see animals in the same super abundance as existed a century ago. See the Thompson's and Grant Gazelles, Topi Eland, Zebra, Waterbuck, Giraffe, Hippo, wild beast, warthog, Crocodiles, Ostrich, Vultures amongst others and over 450, birds specie, with over 50 birds of prey. One thing is for sure in Maasai mara, you will experience nature in its wild wonder. Overnight at the Lodge
Day 9: Masai Mara full day
After breakfast proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 10: Masai Mara - Nairobi
Early in the morning you will have a short game drive in the park and later depart the Masai Mara region for Nairobi with lunch en route. You will be arriving in the evening and will be dropped at Nairobi airport to catch your flight back home.
